April 6, 1947 - November 23, 2016Eldridge Joseph Menard, Jr. age 69, passed away November 23, 2016 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on April 6, 1947 in Kaplan, LA to Eldridge and Mildred Menard. Honorably served in US Navy, AT&T Retiree, served US Coast Guard Auxiliary and Coastal Conservation Association volunteer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.He was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife of 13 years, Patricia Zuniga Menard, children, Tori Duhon and Clay Menard, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters, Gordon Menard, Lavern Bartula, David Menard and Juanita East.Visitation at 6 pm, Sunday, December 4, 2016 followed by a 7 pm Rosary at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 1:30 pm, Monday, December 5, 2016 at St Helena's Catholic Church, 14714 Edgemont, San Antonio, TX 78247.
