Eleanor Davis, 82, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed peacefuly at her home Thursday, March 29, 2018. Eleanor was born to Osmund Stens, and Ethel(Engle) Stens, August 20, 1935 in Columbus Ohio. Eleanor graduated from Zanesville High school in 1953. She married Charles Davis on July 23, 1956, and they lived together happily in Zanesville. She was a devoted spouse, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, spending time with friends and family as well as watching her beloved Cleveland Indians.

Eleanor is survived by 2 children, Stephen Davis and wife Lindsey Davis and Rebecca (Davis)Schwarm and Husband William. 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 10:30am. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on March 31st at 1pm.

She was proceeded in her passing by her husband and eldest son David.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Muskingum County and Hospice of Tuscarawas County.
