It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elester Royal, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Elester was born on September 1, 1937, and peacefully left this world on September 5, 2023.

Elester was born and raised in Mineola,Tx and moved to Richardson when he Graduated High School where he cultivated a deep-rooted love for his community and its inhabitants. He was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to serving others.

Elester was a man of many talents and interests, always seeking knowledge and new experiences. He had an insatiable curiosity and a thirst for wisdom that led him to excel in various fields throughout his life.

Professionally, Elester had a successful career as a teacher, inspiring countless young minds with his passion for learning. He had an innate ability to connect with students and make even the most complicated subjects accessible and enjoyable. Many of his former students would seek his advice and guidance long after leaving his classroom.

Beyond his career, Elester was a devoted family man. He cherished his role as a loving husband to his spouse of over five decades, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. Elester and his spouse were true partners, supporting each other through every triumph and challenge, and their bond served as the foundation of their beautiful family.

Elester Royal is survived by his loving spouse Mary of 45 years children Alicia Bradley (Keylon) Dekia Henderson,Sharon Clark and DeKevin Henderson and grandchildren,1 sister Besty Williams and 1 brother Jared Thomas and a vast network of friends and acquaintances who will forever cherish his memory. Although he is no longer physically present, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Elester's memory to a charitable organization of your choice, as he believed deeply in the power of giving back to others.

Elester, thank you for the profound impact you had on this world. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
