Elisa M. Ortiz1958 - 2016Elisa M. Ortiz, 57, of Kenosha passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Vista Medical Center in Waukegan, Ill. She was born on July 10, 1958, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Eleuterio and Elisa (Pedroza) Vargas. She was educated in the schools of Chicago. She married Ruben Ortiz Sr. on June 16, 1979, in Chicago. Elisa worked as an administrative assistant for Aerotek. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic church. Her hobbies were gardening, being on the lake, laughing and joking, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her husband, Ruben Ortiz Sr. of Kenosha; children, Elisa Ortiz of Silver Lake, Ruben G. Ortiz Jr. of Tempe, Ariz., Cathy M. Ortiz, and Danielle Ortiz, both of Kenosha; brother, Jesus Rubio of Chicago; sisters, Emily (Louis) Montes of Chicago, Esther Alvarez of California, Felicitas Ulloa of California, Connie (Richard) Peterson of California; and granddaughters, Ava McCormick and Alaina Kutches. Elisa was preceded in death by her sister, Margarita Gonzalez.Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services and on Monday, July 11, 2016, at St. Mark Catholic Church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Green Ridge Cemetery.
