Elizabeth Abrams, 77, of Chicago,

Illinois, passed on May 23, 2023.

Elizabeth was born on December 24,1945.

Elizabeth had 25 grandchildren and she was a mother of 8 children!

As a little girl she attended elementary at Smith Perkins.

Then she went on to attend McNeil High School, where she graduated from in 1963.

Soon after, she got married to Roosevelt Cricket where she started a family in chicago il.

She kept her last name because she didn’t want his.

Several years later she started working at James Candy Company and attended Chicago State University to study Child Development. But soon after she pursued a career in Culinary Arts, where she received her License for Food Sanitation. Elizabeth opened her own Soul Food Restaurant. Elizabeth leaves behind her 8 children (Patricia, David, Katherine, Mary, Roosevelt jr, Joyce, Anthony and Jacob. and 25 grandchildren(Charles,Darius,trivia, lance, Latakia, nykel, kyle, Jessica, Linda, Nadia, Levi, patty, baby cj, lil terry, Monica, Liz, Peter, davion, jasmine, jereica, Zoya, Chelsea, nene, Terrance and Jennifer. She loved all her children and grandchildren; she treated everyone the same. Everyone loved Elizabeth; she was the person to go to when you needed something or when you just wanted to come by and talk to her or visit her. Now she’s going home to be with our other family members we lost over the past years and oncoming years. We love you Elizabeth.
