Elizabeth Nelson, lovingly known as Liz, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born on October 11, 1958.

Liz was a devoted mother to her five children, who brought her endless joy and laughter throughout the years. She also adored her ten grandchildren, each one bringing a unique spark to her life.

Known for her infectious smile and generous spirit, Liz was always there to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. Her positive outlook on life was truly contagious, brightening the days of all those around her.

Whether she was whipping up her famous pot roast for family gatherings or hitting the dance floor at weddings, Liz knew how to make every moment special. Her love for life was evident in everything she did.

Though she may be gone, Liz's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

A private memorial will be held at a family member’s house July 11, 2025
