KRIENERElla C.Ella C. Kriener, 99, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at in Toledo. She was born on April 1, 1917 to Christian and Helga (Gronbaek) Andersen. Ella was a member of the Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls, and Point Place Heritage Society. She was formerly a Sunday School teacher at Messiah Lutheran Church. Ella was an excellent seamstress and taught quilting at the Point Place Library. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bonnie (William) Mathies, Susan (James) Royster, William (Shela) Kriener, and Joel (Sally) Kriener. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Richard; brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Nelly Andersen. Proud of her Danish heritage, she left a long legacy of family in Denmark of which the Kriener family continues to visit and cherish to this day.Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2017  from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the funeral home. Pastor Cindy Getzinger will officiate. Afterwards a short funeral luncheon will take place at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4703 Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
