Ellen C. MautzZANESVILLE: Ellen C. Mautz, 74, of Zanesville, died at 3:15pm Tuesday, June 03, 2014 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice.She was born on February 26, 1940 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Walter F. Mautz Sr. and Marie D. (Davis) Mautz.Ellen was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir for many years and was active in many church groups. She loved to crochet and enjoyed making prayer shawls. She was an avid reader and a longtime member of the Greater Zanesville Singers. Ellen was a member of the Laureate Alpha Epsilon sorority since 1962. She graduated from Zanesville High School in 1958, Meredith Business College, Richard Weston School of Cosmetology and OUZ. Ellen was a long time employee of Montgomery Wards and the Corder Appliance Center. She is survived by a brother, Jack (Patty) Mautz of Zanesville; a niece, Kimberly Mautz of New Lexington; and many cousins. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents.Friends may call 6 to 8pm today, Thursday, June 5th & one hour prior to services, which will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 06, 2014 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home with Rev.
