Elma Allena Moore left us peacefully on January 2, 2015 for her meeting with her Lord after her 2nd battle with cancer. Elma was born on February 19, 1945 in Glendale, AZ.Elma was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Gail Senter and her parents, Elmer A. Roden and Vida Roden- Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Calvin D. Moore; sister, Lillian J. Nigro (Edward); brother-in-law, Robert Senter; daughter, Yvonne M. Overholser (Wayne); son, Wyatt D. Moore (Leslie); daughter, Rebecca R. Pettit (Vince); son, Jesse C. Moore (Tiffany) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece and nephews. Her family and friends were always her pride and joy.Elma married Calvin in 1958 and they lived a very happy and fulfilled life together. Elma was a passionate quilter, crocheter and decorator. She enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds. Her skill and patience while learning and teaching was amazing to us all. Her loves were her family and she delighted in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a wonderful group of friends and church family that she enjoyed sharing time with as well. Elma will be missed more than words could ever say.Through this fight with cancer the family would like to thank everyone for their support. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Cancer Society of your choice.Services will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church of Wellton at 11711 Williams Street on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Charles S.
