ELMER RAY COLEMAN,56, of Chicago Illinois, passed Wednesday, April 4th, 2018. ELMER was born to JEAN PIERCE, and PATRICK W. COLEMAN, September 15, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois. ELMER graduated from CRANE TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL in 1978 . He married MARTHA LEWIS in 2001, and they lived together on the Westside of Chicago. 

ELMER worked at the CHICAGO PARK DISTRICTS for 15 years. ELMER was a hard-working man who loved to give back to the community. 

ELMER is survived by 1 sister MARY SOLOMAN, and 2 brothers RAYMOND COLEMAN and MICHAEL BRYANT, and  2 children: JAMES COLEMAN, and LASHAUN BRYANT. He also is survived by 4 grandchildren. ELMER had a host of other family, and friends whom loved him dearly. ELMER had a special friend Patrick McCollum whom he loved like his own brother since 1994. Elmer also had a sister in law who cared for him during his illness (Georgina Bryant).

ELMER loved his family and was a laid back person, who loved to play instant scratch-off tickets and solitaire. ELMER was full of love and touched and advised everyone that he encountered with and will truly be missed.
