On February 3, 2012, at the age of 87, Eloise Thompson passed away of causes incident to age. She lived the last twenty years of her life with family in Spanish Fork, UT and Yuma, AZ. She was born on October 22, 1924 in Lula, Lake Butler, Florida to James David Bagley and Lucretia Nettles. She married William F. Thompson on September 9, 1946. She was a woman of great faith, very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions of leadership including Relief Society President and Seminary Teacher. She was a devoted wife and mother, an example of goodness, generosity and love to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband William F. Thompson and baby boy, Frederick Pat. She is survived by six children: William F. Thompson, Jr. (Chantal), Priscilla E. Devey (Wayne), Beverley C. Noftle (Fred), Thomas R. Thompson (Tanya), Mary Lou Harrell (Randy) and Sandra I. Dixon (Charles), brother, Johnny Bagley and sisters, Melva Walley and Irene Kennedy. Her children, thirty-four grandchildren, sixty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild bid her farewell till we meet again. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 11 at 12:00 noon in the Leland Ward Chapel located at 928 South Del Monte Rd, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held at the chapel prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations please be made to the Missionary Fund or the Temple Patron Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Eloise's behalf. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
