Elsie Mae RodneyMARION, IL: Elsie Mae Rodney, 92, of Marion, Illinois passed away at 11:41 AM, on Monday, June 12, 2017, at The Anchor of River to River Community of Marion.Elsie was born on November 3, 1924, in Buckeye Lake, OH to Orville and Mary Alice (Englehart) Huber. Elsie grew up in Thornville and was a graduate of Thornville High School. She married Robert Rodney on April 2, 1946, in Marion. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1996. Elsie is survived by 2 sons, Donald Rodney and wife Darlyn of Marion and Edward Rodney and wife Joan of Edwardsville; 1 daughter, Linda Archa & husband Chad of Tyler, TX; 5 grandchildren, and 8 great granchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Glen Huber and sister, Goldie Appleman.Visitation & Services were held at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
