Menicucci, ElsieElsie (Smith) Menicucci, age 95, passed away peacefully in her home in Shelton, Connecticut during the evening of Sunday, December 4, 2016 surrounded by her family. Elsie was born on March 25, 1921 in Stratford, CT. She was the second child born to Samuel "Harry" Smith and Edith Smith. Her greatest joy was to love and serve her family, and her beloved puzzles and word books. Elsie was a dedicated employee of Harvey Hubble in Bridgeport for thirty-two years. In her later years she was a seasonal employee of the Bridgeport City EMP FCU. Elsie is survived by daughters; Diane Christian (Emery) and Linda Pappa. She is also survived by grandsons; Mark and Steven Christian and William and Michael Pappa and two great-granddaughters; Rylee and Marissa Christian. She is survived by one sister, Edith King and sister-in-law, Sarah Ceccarelli and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo Menicucci whom she had married in 1945, and her siblings; Rhoda McSparren, Charlotte Kalakay, Bertha Mirto, Louisa Gaudette, and Samuel "Harry" Smith.
