Elsie SiebenalerElsie May Siebenaler, 85, passed away on March 29, 2017, in Fort Collins, Colorado at the home of her son, Steve Siebenaler. She had been a resident at the Seven Lakes Memory Care Facility in nearby Loveland.Elsie was born on May 6,1931 in England in the London suburb of Hounslow and was the daughter of Edith and Cecil Bowers. Elsie met her future husband, a tall, handsome American named Edward Albert Siebenaler when his Air Force unit was stationed near London during the Korean War. Elsie moved to America and they were married in 1956. They lived for six years in Toledo, Ohio, Ed's hometown, before moving to Greensboro, North Carolina, which remained their home for 50 years. Elsie was a loving mother to her two children, Lorraine and Steve and a beloved and active member of the Greensboro community. Besides being a homemaker, amazing wife, mother and grandmother, Elsie also worked for 15 years as a real estate office manager for Charter Carolina. After 56 years of marriage, Elsie's husband, Edward passed away in 2012. Elsie was pre-deceased by her parents, Edith and Cecil Bowers and sister, Joyce Lofton. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine Siebenaler Eisenbraun (son-in-law Stephen Eisenbraun; grandchildren David and Emily Eisenbraun; step-grandchildren Annie Higgo and her husband Storm Higgo, step great-grandchildren Audrey and Scott Higgo; step- grandchild John Eisenbraun and his wife Jessica, step-grandchildren Nicholas and Hannah) and son Stephen Edward Siebenaler (daughter-in-law Marcia Siebenaler, grandchildren Taylor Lewis and her husband Aaron, Haley and Connor Siebenaler; step-grandchild Catherine Compton.)The family would like to thank the amazing caretakers at Seven Lakes Assisted Living Memory Care and Pathways Hospice for their loving care. Elsie and Ed were longtime members of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church of Greensboro.
