Elvira Sena, 88, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at the Rio Rancho Care and Rehab in Rio Rancho.She was born on Oct. 13, 1924 in Los Vigiles to Kenneth Roybal and Estrellita Varela-Roybal.A Catholic, she attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas.She was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Estrellita Roybal; husband: Joe E. Sena; and her sister: Mary Romero.She is survived by her daughter: Mary Ann Sandoval; son: Joe V. Sena and wife, Debra, of Las Vegas; daughters: Jane Lucero and husband, Archie, of Baltimore, Md., Patsy Sena of Las Vegas; son: Frank Sena and wife, Jean, of Austin, Texas; grandchildren: Michael Sandoval and wife, Brenda, Tianna Rosete and husband, Anthony, Jose Sena, Amber Mühlhäußer and husband, Peter, Frankie Sena, Melissa Leyba and partner Vanessa, Tracy Romero and fiancé Michael Morales; great-grandchildren: Erin Sandoval, Kameron Sandoval, Salene Sena, Alicia Rosete, A.J. Rosete, and Micah Morales; brother-in-law: Primi Romero of Thorton, Colo.; brother: Alfred Flores and wife Sharon of Albuquerque; special niece: Sally Sandoval of Las Vegas; sisters-in-law: Ruth Sena of Loveland, Colo., and Mary Trujillo and husband, Ramon, of Manuelitas; brother-in-law: Cesario Sena and wife, Emily, of Melrose, N.M.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. today (Monday) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas.Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant.
