Emma Johnson 94, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Emma was born to Joseph Johnson , and Anna Mae Holt , October 11, 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Emma graduated from Northside High in 1969 and received a degree from Lemoyne Owen College in 1974. She married Joe Taylor in 1940, and they lived together in Memphis. Emma worked at Travelling Private Investigator, Sheriff until she retired in 2005. Emma was the Director of Head Start school in 2000s, she is was full of fun laughter, fighter, outspoken, and she loved her family. Emma attended New Solonom Baptist Church. 

Emma served his country as a Commisoner Officer and Private Investigstor In German of the Army for 8 years. there is where she met her husband Joe Taylor where she married him during attending college.

Emma is survived by 2 children: Johnny Ray Johnson/Taylor and Joesph Taylor She also is survived by 2 grandchildren. Shoshana Gambrell, Johnny Taylor
