Brownsville Emilio Gallardo Jr. 58, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 surrounded by his loving family in Brownsville, Texas.Emilio was born on August 10, 1958 to Emilio T. Gallardo and Celia Frausto Gallardo in Brownsville, Texas. He is survived by his parents Emilio and Celia Gallardo; his loving wife Carmen Gallardo, his children; Jose Emilio Salazar, Gilbert Edward Gallardo (Kevin Parker), Elizabeth Ann Gallardo (Josh Montano) and his grandchildren, JLynn Joy Salazar and Riley Salazar. Also, to cherish many memories are his siblings; Rose Marie (Timothy) Boelter, Cecilia Ann (Martin) Bustos, Norma Jean (Roland) Vasquez, Lucas Gallardo, Laura Stella (Carlos) Fialdini; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that were fortunate to have known him. He will be greatly missed.Visitation is from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
