Emma Madrid, 90, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015, in Las Vegas.She was born on Oct. 14, 1924, in Las Vegas to Frank Gonzales and Natividad Valdez Gonzales.A Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and Catholic Daughters Court 1301.She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Madrid; three sons: Joseph Madrid, Max Madrid and Robert Madrid; sister Stella Gonzales; brother Ray Gonzales; sister-in-law Rosie Gonzales; and son-in-law John Robert Chandler.She is survived by her daughter: Dr. Tomasita Chandler of Las Vegas; son Eli Madrid of Washington, D.C.; daughters: Ann M. Gallegos and husband, Benny; Paula Madrid all of Las Vegas; daughter-in-law Sandra Madrid of Las Vegas; grandchildren: Stephanie Gallegos and husband, Steve Bazan, of Albuquerque; Lorrie Gallegos and husband, Daniel Chavez, of Bernalillo; Max Gallegos and wife, Sara Gallegos, of Albuquerque; Benito Gallegos and Amanda Montaño of Rio Rancho; Jonathan Madrid of Las Vegas; Manny Clayton of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren: Estevan Bazan, Annalisa Gallegos, Andrew Clayton, Emma Chavez, Savanna Gallegos, Julian Clayton, Benjamin Gallegos all of Albuquerque; numerous: nieces and nephews.Rosary services will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 19, at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral Services will be held following the Rosary, also at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as Celebrant.
