Emma Sue Taylor Jackson was born September 1, 1953. She departed this life on January 14, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama.
She married Andrew James Jackson on March 21, 1972 and this union were the parents of three special children Stephanie Cashay Jackson, Africa Sherrell Collins-Matthews (Chris) and Yoshida Gramyko Hamilton, all of Decatur.
She was a kind loving woman of God who worked at Wayne Farms for 17 years in deboning and processing, where she went on to retire.
In her spare time she worked at a flea market volunteering at auctions on Friday nights.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother Emma Louise William-Taylor and father, James Andrew Taylor and four siblings. Waymon Taylor, Hosley Lee Taylor, Gladys Williams and Flora Mae Griffin.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Andrew James Jackson; a host of siblings, Beverly Brackin, Bowling Green, KY, Shirley Griffin, Madison, Lola Mosley, Decatur, Hazel Pointer and Joyce Bolden of Moulton, Josephine Brackins, Oakville, Leroy Taylor of Cleveland, OH, Wymon Taylor, Moulton, Cardell Taylor, Decatur, Fred (BoBo) Bowling Green, KY, Paul (Caroline) Taylor, Trinity, Rayford (Jewel) Taylor, Oakville, Johnny (Mattie) Taylor, Oakville and a host of other relatives and friends.
