Emory Jordan Chen, 16, of West Paducah, passed away on December 17, 2024. Born on January 17, 2008 in Emerald Isle, North Carolina, he was the beloved son of Benjamin Chen and Jennie Park.

Emory attended Paducah Tilghman High School where he excelled in his studies and pursued his passion for painting and playing guitar. He also loved jet-skiing, hanging out with friends, and playing Minecraft.

He is survived by his parents, Benjamin Chen of Metropolis, and Jennie Park, of West Paducah. He is also survived by one sister, Victoria Chen of West Paducah, and his best friend, Joey Landwehr (Edwards), of Symsonia.

Unfortunately, Emory tragically took his own life. Despite the pain of his passing, we remember the joy and light he brought into our lives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
