Epolito Ramirez, 72, passed away of cancer on Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Yuma, Arizona. He was born on August 11, 1941 in Waco, Texas. Epolito was a truck driver and a Catholic. Epolito is survived by his wife Esperanza Ramirez of Yuma; daughters, Stella Ramirez of Bullhead City, AZ, Sarah Catalan-Ramirez of Idaho Falls, ID, and Beatrice Alegria of Somerton, AZ; sisters, Valentina Molina of Snyder, TX, Mary Garcia and Jaine Gonzalez of Dallas, TX; 7 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Feliz Ramirez and sister, Cruz Mendez. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel, 795 W. 28th St., Yuma, AZ. Mass services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, 1815 S. 8th Avenue, Yuma, AZ. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
