He was a man of great virtue, and never gave in to the oppression of slavery.  Erenrest loved to fish and tell his life experiences to the younger generation.  Most of the time he would be sitting  in his the boat, fishing with any of his grand children and talk to them give them life lessons.  His most known, loved quote; "Knowledge is my armor, Faith is my shield, Truth is my sword".  You will forever be in our hearts.
