Eric Garza, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on September 7, 2023, at the young age of 21. While his time with us was tragically short, the impact he made on the lives of those around him will be cherished forever.

Known to friends as "Energetic Eric," he was always the life of the party. Eric's infectious laughter and playful nature brightened the room and brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His sense of humor was unparalleled, and his quick-witted comebacks could lighten even the heaviest of hearts.

A true Texan at heart, Eric loved everything his home state had to offer. Whether it was cheering on his favorite football team, devouring a plate of mouthwatering barbecue, or enjoying a day out on the lake, he embraced the Texas spirit with unbridled enthusiasm.

Eric's passions extended beyond his state's borders, however. He had an insatiable appetite for adventure. From scaling the highest peaks to diving into the deepest oceans, Eric embraced every opportunity to explore the wonders of the world. His fearless spirit and thirst for life served as an inspiration to those around him.

Music also held a special place in Eric's heart. He had an eclectic taste, finding pleasure in everything from classical symphonies to the latest hit songs. Whether he was jamming out in his room or attending concerts with friends, his love for music was infectious.

Although his journey was cut short, Eric accomplished so much in his all-too-brief time on earth. He touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on our hearts. Eric reminds us all to cherish the moments we have, to laugh often, and to pursue our passions with unrelenting zest.

Eric is survived by his parents, Maria and Carlos Garza, his older sister Mia, and numerous friends and loved ones who will deeply miss his radiance and laughter.

In memory of Eric, let us celebrate his joyful spirit and remember the light he brought into our lives. May we honor his memory by cherishing every moment and living life to the fullest.
