Eric Ivan Shortsleeve, 43, of Humble, Texas passed away at his home on January 25, 2015. Eric was born on December 26, 1971 in El Paso, TX, son of Kenneth Shortsleeve Sr. and Dora Shortsleeve. He earned an Associates Degree from the University of Phoenix in Computer Sciences. Eric was an avid fisherman, enjoyed studying the bible, and was devoted to the care of his parents, wife, and best friend Louie the pug terrior. He was married to Betty Shortsleeve for 19 years.
Surviving are his wife Betty, mother Dora, father Kenneth, and three brothers: Kenny and his wife Nancy of Humble, Texas; Alex and his wife Toni of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Mike and his wife Terrie of Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Also surviving is niece Hannah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, at 11 a.m. at Atascocita United Methodist Church, 19325 Pinehurst Trail Drive, Atascocita Texas 77346.
