Erma PaciorErma J. Pacior, 85, of Fort Collins, CO formerly of Oil City, PA went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2017. She was born on August 21st, 1932 in New Castle, PA and was the daughter of the late Eldred Ransom and Mildred (George) Barris. She graduated from Franklin High School and Meadville City Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a private duty nurse as needed. She also volunteered at the Grandview Convalescent Home and drove cars for A. Crivelli.Erma was married in East Springfield, PA on April 30, 1954 to Ramon E. Pacior. They enjoyed 61 years of marriage.She was a member of the Christian Women's Club in PA for many years, attended Bible Study Fellowship in CO, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Oil City, PA. While in CO, she regularly attended Livermore Community Church. Erma enjoyed sharing her faith and praying for others. She often volunteered for First Night Oil City.Erma's was known for her baking ability, particularly her cinnamon rolls. She gardened, fed birds, played cards and board games and bowled. She was very skilled at puzzles, crosswords and cryptograms. She was a Steeler fan and enjoyed watching sports. When she was healthy, she could be found swimming at the Oil City YMCA in the mornings. She traveled to beautiful places in Mexico, Canada, and the United States. She was very creative and enjoyed making crafts; knitting and crocheting hats, sweaters, scarves, afghans, dishcloths, and butterflies for friends, family, or complete strangers. Erma was also skilled at teaching others to knit and crochet. She made good friends of all ages easily and quickly.In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Barris.Surviving are two daughters: Lynn Pacior-Malys and her husband Jim of Oil City, PA and Brenda Pacior-Carroll and her husband Ron of Bellvue, CO; and two grandchildren, Sarah Myles of Oil City, PA and Isaac Carroll of Fort Collins, CO. She is also survived by an uncle, cousins, and nieces and nephews. Vessey Funeral Services in Colorado is completing funeral arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Paws in Franklin, PA or Larimer Humane Society in Fort Collins, CO. A Celebration of her Life is planned in Oil City at a future time.
