Erna Woodberry, of Midland, Texas, passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on September 5, 1948, to Roy L Gillum and Ida Mae Woodberry.

Erna is survived by her loving son, Arthemius Smith, and his spouse Dominique Williams, as well as her brother, George Ervin Woodberry. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren, Treyman Swopes, Sametria Smith, Ta'vion Williams, Justus Bascus and Arthemius Smith Jr. As well as,1 great grand daughter, Imani Chase.

She attended Job Corps-Albuquerque, Nm for high school, and graduated in 1970. Erna went on to pursue her passion for cosmetology, graduating from Alladin Beauty College in 1990. She worked as a dedicated cosmetologist until her retirement in 2025.

Erna had a love for puzzles of all kinds, spending countless hours enjoying them. She will be remembered for her creativity, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. As well, as her alpha female like character.

Erna Woodberry will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
