Ernest Townsend, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 8, 2024, in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.

Ernest was born on December 2, 1955, to A.C. Townsend and Megielene Townsend. He was a loving father to his three children, Tasha, Erika, and Zackery. Ernest also adored his eleven grandchildren.

Ernest will be remembered for his infectious laugh, his love of good BBQ, and his unwavering devotion to his family. He could often be found cheering on his favorite sports teams or telling jokes that left everyone in stitches.

Ernest's legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren, who will always cherish the memories they shared with him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
