Ernest Curtis Walker was born on February 18, 1928, in Gulfport, MS. He was the son of the late Bessie M. Walker and Edward Lee Walker. He was the second oldest of six children, James L. Love, Leona H. Harris, Marion C. Walker, Gloria E. Walker and Kate A. Anand.He leaves to cherish his memory sisters, Gloria E. Walker and Kate A. Anand (Trevor); nieces, Sheriel Perkins (Attorney Willie J. Perkins), Rekha Carlisle (Matthew) and Kaleena Morell (Juan Ray); nephews, Michael Love, Fred E. Harris, Jr., (Marian Harris), Kenneth L. Harris and James C. Harris; cousins, William G. Wells and Ella Woods; great-nephews, James Perkins, Jr., Marcus Love (Kyla), Geoffrey Love, Jamal Perkins, Fred E. Harris 111, Jonathan Harris; great-nieces, Attorney Takiyah Perkins, Jamilah Perkins, Janell Love, Ayana Morell, Mia Morell and Maya Morell; devoted cousins of the late Marion Lundy Walker and husband: Theresa Lundy, Hashan Lundy and Carole Johnson of NYC.Ernest C. Walker served in the military at Ft.
