Dr. Ernest HicksFountain Inn - Dr. Ernest Eugene Hicks, 68, of Fountain Inn, SC formerly of Gastonia passed away November 10, 2017 at his residence. Rev. Hicks was born on September 12, 1949 in Greenville, SC to the late Lloyd Hicks, Sr. and Bobbie Ferguson Hicks. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Gail Hicks; Children, Eric Hicks (Geraldine), Chris Hicks (Tina), Natasha Turner, Brandy Stinson (Robbie), Jessica Chitwood, Tobby Dennis (Kandi), Ashley PoTeat (Rocky), Ericca Felder and; 14 Grandchildren and 2 great Grandchildren; Brothers, Johnny Dill (Karen), Lloyd Hicks Jr., Demetrius Hicks (Roxanne); Sister, Amy Hicks; and Aunt, Joe Ann Cullpepper. Funeral Services to Celebrate Rev. Dr. Hicks life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday November 15 at Harvest Time Ministry, 904 Second St., Kings Mountain, NC 28086 with the Rev. Shiela Griggs and Don McNealy Officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 PM also at the church.
