Brier, Ernest J.Ernest J. Brier, 94, Green Bay, died Thursday, May 11, 2017. He was born on June 1, 1922, in Trout Lake, MI to Walter and Pearl (Davis) Brier.Ernest attended schools in both Michigan and Wisconsin. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1940, Ernest married Naomi Kirchoff and she preceded him in death in 1999. In 2000, he married Ruth Wiese. Ernest worked for James River for 38 years, retiring in 1984.He is survived by his wife, Ruth; stepdaughters, Linda Hendricks, Susan Thurlow, and Joan Hanson; nieces, nephews, and friends.Ernest was preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi; his parents; three sisters, Edith Lemer, Dorothy Lauscher, and Lenore Kirchoff; and his brother, James Brier.In accordance with Ernest's wishes, no service will be held.
