Ernest "Ernie" MagdalenoOxnard, CAErnest Magdaleno (Ernie) passed away at the age of 84 on March 3, 2017 of Oxnard. He was born on January 18, 1933 in East LA to Jose and Aurelia Magdaleno and was a lifetime resident of Oxnard.At the age of 22, Ernie enlisted into the U.S. Army to proudly serve the United States of America. He was honorably discharged after his first enlistment and decided to spend more time with his family. Ernie loved spending time with his family and friends, and enjoyed music, barbecues and hanging out at the parks and beaches.He is preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Salazar; sons, Richard and Charlie Magdaleno; parents, Jose and Aurelia Magdaleno; sisters, Elsie and Virginia Magdaleno; brothers, Johnny, Charlie and Louie Magdaleno; Ernie is survived by his daughter, Patricia Magdaleno (finance' Luis Mendoza); granddaughters,Allieena Flores and Veronica Vasquez; grandsons, Christopher Flores and James Vasquez; great granddaughter, Nevaeh Vasquez; stepson Jeff Salazar and his son Joey Salazar; sisters Mary Louisa, Carmen and Enedina Magdaleno; sons, Johnny (wife Sara) and their children, Gina, Johnny, Teresa and Nicole, Ernie (wife Delia) and their children, Ernie and Amber, Albert (wife Lisa) and their children, Anthony, Kristina and Klarissa, and Robert Magdaleno; Charlie Magdeleno's children, Carlos, Susanna, Johnny and Daniel, stepson, Jess Salazar; and numerous nephews and nieces.Your laughter will be dearly missed by everyone and forever.Until the dayWe meet again,We knowOne thing for sure;You will be theregreeting usAs we cross throughHeaven's door.We will always love you, Patricia, Robert, Albert, Ernie, Johnny, and Jess.Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday, March 24, in the JOSEPH P.
