Esperanza Almeida is now resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was the spiritual rock of our family. Her love and strong faith touched many lives. Her great loves were her husband Jesus, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Esperanza L. Almeida, 94, passed away on May 23, 2017, in El Paso, Texas. She was born on January 18, 1923, in Mexico to Jose and Mariana Lopez. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesus Almeida. She will be greatly missed by her Sons: Hector L. Almeida (Susan), Javier J. Almeida and Jesus Roberto Almeida; Daughters: Maria Guadalupe Almeida Natividad (Toribio Sr.), Rose Almeida Rebeles, Mary Ellen Diaz de Leon (Alex), and Patricia Almeida; Grandchildren: Michael Almeida, Rachel Bumgardner, Dr. Toribio T. Natividad, Christina Aguirre, Dr. Nicholas Natividad, Jessica Beltran, John Almeida, P.A., Dr. Jennifer Rebeles, Samuel David Rebeles, Adriana Diaz de Leon, and Marissa Diaz de Leon and 19 Great-Grandchildren and sister Alta Gracia Delgado and nephew Jose S. Lopez. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Friday, May 26, 2017, at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 8:30 am on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
