Essie Harvey, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024, in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was born on February 19, 1944, to Michael Bailey and Francine Harris.

Essie was married to her loving husband, Frank Harvey, for 22 years. Together, they raised two children: Sheronda Washington and Kevin Harvey. Essie was a devoted grandmother to her two grandchildren, Sharieff I Young and Gabrielle Young.

She attended Henry Snyder High School and graduated in 1972. After completing her education, Essie began working at White Castles, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring in 10.

Essie was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who know her.
