Estelle Rosamae Williams, a beloved resident of Hephzibah, Georgia, bid farewell to this world peacefully on December 15, 2023, at the age of 83. Born on January 3, 1940, Estelle, affectionately known as Stella, lived a remarkable life filled with Love, Laughter, and Grace. She was a cherished member of the community, known for her warm personality and compassionate nature. Stella's dedication to her family & community was evident through her unselfish nature of always giving and her unwavering support for those in need. Her infectious smile could brighten the darkest of days, and her kindness touched the lives of many.
Stella was a very sweet & kind individual. She never met a stranger, she always "knew you from somewhere". Stella had a passion for gardening, dancing, cooking, watching entertainment television, football & let's not forget shopping. Her vibrant personality & zest for life bought so much joy to those around her.
Stella attended primary school at Floyd Graham & Lucy C. Laney High School. In her professional life, Stella dedicated herself to Gracewood State School & Hospital for 34 years, where she made a positive impact on the lives of many before Retirement. Stella was a faithful, dedicated life-long member of Christian Fountain Baptist Church, where she found solace and strength in her Spirituality.
Estelle will be dearly missed and her loving spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Stella was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Elmo Williams, Sr. Her Father & Mother, Bennie Williams Sr., Rubye Watkins Curry; Siblings, Juanita Williams, Robert Williams, Ruby L.P. Jones, Margaret P. Williams, Jack Williams, Bennie Williams, Jr. & Albert Peterson.
She is survived by her sons, Bennie, Elmo Jr., Curtis & Dwayne (Delores), along with Grandchildren: Nicole L. Williams, Ni'keshia L. Williams, Rashika K. Williams, Jamal R. Williams, Alicia Johnson, Shavonda L.L. Williams, Brandon A. Williams, Brittiney M. Williams, Bailee M. Bussey, Urijah Williams & Jahleel Williams & 10 Great-Grandchildren; Siblings, Isabell Rosier & David (Yolanda) Peterson, 2 Goddaughters: Sherona M. Peterson & Ashlee R. Griffin, Honorary Grandchildren: Keisha E. Lewis & Jacqueline A.J. Craig, 3 Honorary Great-Grandchildren, tons of nieces, nephews & extended family, all of whom will miss her fiercely and cherish her memory.
