Lutz, 82, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born on Wednesday, May 9, 1934, to the late Lester Klick and Annie Klick nee Binner in Myerstown.She worked as a sewing machine operator at Steffy Shoe Factory and a cook at Cedar Haven.She was a past president of Avon Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, involved with Lebanon County Ladies Auxiliary, Keystone Fire Company, Myerstown, 1976 Spritzer Bells and Woody's Bingo with her husband which benefited the crippled children's school. Esther enjoyed flower gardening and cooking. Surviving are husband, Woodrow W. Lutz; children, Bruce A. Lutz, Sr., Cynthia Barto, Linda Wolfe, Randall Lutz, Wesley Lutz; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Larry Lutz and sisters, Grace Keener, Bernita Daub, Ethel Wolfe, Alverta Billman.Viewing will be on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
