Swalby, EstherEsther Nettie Swalby (nee Mueller), 95, of Fond du Lac passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Fond du Lac. She was born on May 22, 1921 on a farm in the Town of Forest to Otto E. and Minnie (Krug) Mueller. On April 12, 1939, she married Leonard Swalby who preceded her in death in 1982.She leaves behind a special son Paul (Sandra) Block, 3 daughters Patricia (Fred) Martin, Sharon (Tom) Scallon and Debbie (Bob) Heinz, grandchildren Susan (Richard) Rodriquez, Marty (Lauren) Martin, Mary Martin, Micky (Jeff) Burns Johnson, Jay (Joni) Wallender, Tim (De Ann) Heinz, BobbiJo (David) Parker and Jared (Aimie) Heinz, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.She was the last of the Mueller family, preceding her in death were her siblings Art (Eleanor), Harold (Malinda), Marvin (Sarah), Lawrence (Jeanette), Florence (Wendall) Barber, Malita (Eugene) Rost and Angeline who died as a child and a grandson Jamie Wallender.Private family services will be held on Friday, March 10th at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac. Inurnment will be at a later date in Estabrooks Cemetery.Our family extends a special thank you to the Brookdale staff for the wonderful care of our mother for 15 years.
