It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ethel Thomas, who was born on April 4, 1957, and passed away on June 1, 2024, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, United States.

Ethel was the beloved daughter of John and Erin Hill. She was also the loving spouse of Leon Thomas, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. Together, they raised three children: Leon Reid, Nylica Hayes, and Keisha Thomas. Ethel was a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren.

Ethel attended RMH High School and graduated in 1976. She continued her studies in N/A. Ethel had a passion for the church and was actively involved in her community.

Ethel's warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
