AVILLA — Ethel Belle Balliet, 95, of Avilla, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born on November 20, 1920 to the late Ray and Pearl Dancer. She graduated from the Avilla High School class of 1939. She married C. Eugene "Beanie" Balliet who preceded her in death in 1986. She was employed at Seyferts Potato Chips for 25 years and then as a demo lady at Sam's Club in Ft Wayne. She was also a member of the Hopewell Church of Avilla. Surviving are a son, Larry Ray (June) Balliet; grandson, Phillip E. (Katie) Balliet; and a great-granddaughter, Lexi Rae all of Avilla. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N. Main St., Avilla. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be held at Eel River Cemetery.
