Eugene Christopher 'Gino' TerlizziEugene Christopher Terlizzi , "Gino", age 84, of River Edge, our beloved husband and daddy, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2017. He was in hospice at home with Wendi, Gregg and Brenda by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian, to whom he was happily married for 58 years, daughter Wendi (Gordon) and son Gregg (Brenda) and his four grandchildren who meant the world to him - Summer, Olivia, Miles and Jillian.Gino was born on February 2, 1933 and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey by Italian immigrant parents, Michael and Rose, and was one of seven children. He did a brief tour in the Army, then became a Teamster and truck driver with TimeDC Trucking for 30 years. After that, he started a new career as a contractor, doing exactly what he loved to do every day until he retired at age 77.Gino was cherished by his family, friends and so many of his customers whom he truly treated as his friends. More than anything, he loved his kids and taught us the meaning of FAMILY.Funeral Service for Gino Terlizzi will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 . Family will accept visitors between 1—2:30; a brief service will be led by Father Brogan 2:30-3:00pm at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Rd., River Edge, NJ 07661.Friends and Family are welcome to a Celebration of Gino's Life after 3 pm at the Terlizzi home.
