Tevin, Mitchell, and Freddy On May 28, 1979, he married Wanda Maxey. They raised two sons, and two daughters, Ray Brooks, Monica Brooks, Mell Brooks and Ebony Brooks.

Eugene was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Eugene was preceded in death by his father, his mother, He is survived by his wife Wanda and there four children, his brothers. Tevin, Mitchell, and Freddy and several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
