Eugene KozlovichDec. 12, 1926 - Nov. 16, 2016MISHAWAKA - Eugene Kozlovich, 89, of Mishawaka, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Waterford Estates, Mishawaka. He was born on December 12, 1926, to the late John M. and Molly D. (Dodyk) Kozlovich. On August 10, 1957, in Niles, MI, he married Carol A. Carlson, who survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Diana J. Stickl of South Bend and Janet K. Hamilton of Edwardsburg, MI; sons, Jeffrey G. (Denise) Kozlovich of Fishers, IN, and Eugene J. Kozlovich of Wausau, WI; seven grandchildren, John B. Kozlovich, Jenna K. Kozlovich, Laura D. Stickl, George G. Stickl, Jeffrey G. Kozlovich, Jr., Rosemary K. Hamilton and Joseph R. Hamilton; and four great-grandchildren, Chiara Kozlovich, Henry Nelson Kozlovich, Lucy Kozlovich and Lucas Weatherby. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Julieanne Kozlovich. Eugene was a 1952 graduate of Michigan University (where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity). He was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post #50 and Corpus Christi Catholic Church. He was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Tawny Lake Homeowners Association. He was an avid Notre Dame fan, fisherman, and loved spending time with his family. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016, at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016, in the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN.
