ROWLAND Eulas Paul 84, died Wednesday, November 1,2017 at Wesley Village in Wilmore KY. Paul was born on May 21,1933 in Kenwood , Kentucky, the son of Harrison and Ida Rowland. He graduated from Flat Gap High School in 1951 and served in the United States Air Force during the
Korean War. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Morehead State University and a Master's Degree from Miami University of Ohio. In 1960, he began his 30 year career as a school teacher and guidance counselor. He retired from Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia. Paul was an avid photographer and enjoyed working on his computer. He had a real passion for UK basketball, both boys and girls as well as volleyball. Square dancing was an activity he enjoyed for 30 years. He was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church where he participated in a small group and Photography club. He is Survived by his wife Linda, one brother Carl, two sisters-in-law RoseAnn and Jean and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers Harold, Arnold and Avery. Family will receive friends at 10:00am on November 11 at Southern Hills United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to Southern Hills United Methodist Church Music Fund at 2356 Harrodsburg Rd. Lexington Ky, 40503. A family Internment service was held on November 4 at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery in Staffordville, Ky. Arrangements were under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
