Funeral Services for Eulus Damron, 95, of Lamesa, will be held Friday June 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Northside Baptist Church with Brother Jim Rush officiating. Burial will follow at Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Eulus passed away on May 31, 2017 in Lamesa. She was born on August 19, 1921 in Norman, Oklahoma to Lillard and Myrtle (Niblett) Thomas. She married Fred Damron on December 22, 1937 in Lamesa. She was a lifelong member of Northside Baptist Church. She attended Bartlett School in Dawson County and was also a member of The Rebekah Lodge #90. Eulus was very proud to be a part of The Dawson County Chapter of Texas Extension Homemakers Association. Eulus and her daughter Judy were co-owners of The Flower House in Lamesa. Eulus is survived by her son; Don D. Damron and wife Jodee of Bellflower, California; sisters; JoNell Newton of Lamesa and Ann Hale of Ruidoso, N.M.; brother Darrell Thomas of Lamesa; grandchildren; Risa Coleman and husband Terry of Lamesa, Diane Sherrill and husband Tim of Lamesa, Jacki Turner and husband Kerry of Lamesa, Janette Damron of Norco, California, Crista Nelan and husband Chico of El Paso, Gerry Damron and wife Debbie of Las Vegas, Nevada, Natalie Pittack and husband Larry of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tiffany Landon and husband Greg of Decator, Alabama and T.J. Grego of Rogers, Arkansas ; 21 Great Grandchildren; and 12 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Judy Hemphill; and son, Leray Damron.
