Eunice Evette Compton, 85, passed on July 16, 2022. She was born to Edward Lee Compton and Gloria Lynn Compton in Paducah, Kentucky on March 05, 1937.She married Joseph and they lived together in Peoria, Illinois. Together they raised 2 children Chatea and Gerald. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren. Eunice graduated from Paducah Tilgham in 1955 and received a degree from the University of Memphis in 1960. Eunice worked at City Link Bus Driver and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. Eunice loved to take a trips to the mall to go shopping, the Paradise boat to gamble and to baseball games to watch her grandson. One thing about Eunice is that she always brought a smile to everyone's face no matter how bad of a day they were having. She was a wonderful mother who was always there we we needed her, She aslo had many friends and was a well-loved memeber of the CityLink transportation community. She was very loved and will be missed terribly. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial service we are holding in her honor at Pettus-Rowland on the 26th of July.
