Eunice Ellen Hays GrayHAGERSTOWN, Ind. - Eunice Ellen Hays Gray, 74, of Hagerstown, died Saturday, July 16, 2011.Eunice was born on April 9, 1937, in New Castle, Ind. She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a 25-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was an active member of the Hagerstown High School Class of 1955 and was crowned the Hagerstown Lions Club Sight Fund Queen of 1955. She enjoyed setting up at local flea markets and antiquing, where she met and made many friends. She loved, and was loved by, all those who shared her life.She is survived by her husband, Elmer Gray Jr.; her children, Kevin (Ruth) Cross, Kim Jackson, Kerrie (John) Hoodlebrink and Kyle (Lori) Cross; stepchildren, Kenneth (Sandy) Gray, Sue (Don) Smith, Pamala Miller, Mike (Barbara) Gray, Linda (Andy) Gray and Harold Gray; grandchildren, Mark Cross, Angie Cooper, Sara Cross, Sandra (Vince) Charnley, Becky (Chad) Conley, Kristeena Wilson, Kandis (Robert) Schroeder, Kory Wilson, Kelli (Ryan) Christman, Michael Hoodlebrink, Shaye Fisher, Garrett Fisher, and many other stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Beatrice Hays; her sister, Angeline Hays Rash; her brother, Richard Hays; and two great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 21, in Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery.
