Jan. 3, 1926 - July 21, 2017 Eva Rodriguez Felix of Woodland passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, July 21. She was 91 years old and enjoyed a life of family, teaching, gardening, sewing/knitting, reading, and volunteering her time to Yolo Hospice. She was also an active member of The Church of Nazarene and remained faithful to her Savior through her final days. She called Woodland home for nearly 55 years and took great pleasure in teaching at various schools within the city. She was a kind, giving woman who made friends easily. Eva was born on Jan 3, 1926 as one of 10 children. She is survived by sons, Robert and Gilbert Felix; daughter, Irene White; grandchildren, Anitra Mohl, Richard Garcia, Billy and Joseph Felix, Sara (Felix) Sibson, her husband Keith, and two great-grandchildren, Erin and Eva Sibson. She is also survived by her sister, Lydia Mascorro and countless nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at Celebration Center Church of the Nazarene, 100 Woodland Ave., beginning at 10 a.m. on Aug. 2 with a burial to immediately follow at Woodland Cemetery. Pastor Pete Hohmann and Pastor Robert Hargrave officiating. Donations may be made to Yolo Hospice, which helped both Eva and her late husband and love of her life, Gilbert Felix. She will forever be missed.
