It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eve Gentry, who left us on November 13, 2024. She was born on April 7, 1955, in Chandler, Arizona, to her parents Reginald Gentry and Annie Rice.

Eve was a loving wife to Gary Wayne Petterson, whom she married in 1985. Together, they raised three children: Marcus Ray Gentry, Aaron Gentry, and Rosemary Kit Smith. She also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren.

Eve attended Ohio Seton High School and later went on to work at Golden Corral, where she dedicated many years before retiring at the age of 65. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, participating in Bible study, knitting, and going on shopping adventures.

Although she may be gone, Eve will always be remembered for her bright smile, infectious laughter, and kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Eve. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
