Evelyn was born on June 18, 1940 in Bronxville, New York and was predeceased by her brothers Arthur and Gus Johnson. She is the dear, beloved wife of Jimmy Tsavlis, mother of Martha (Tsavlis) Nagle, John Tsavlis, and Dee Tsavlis, and grandmother, lovingly known as "MorMor", to her grandchildren Nicole (Robert) Panaro, Chris Nagle, Danielle Nagle, Shelby Nagle, and Seth Bohler. As a long-time resident of Toms River, Evelyn loved being by the water and especially loved taking rides over to Island Heights and to the ocean. In a prayer written by her husband, "We all know that you are a good Christian, and you lived for the Lord. We know that with the absence from your body, you are now present with the Lord. May God forgive any impurities you may have had in your life and may we all strive to have that healthy, clean, loving nature that you had with us and still possess. Until we see you with our Lord, we miss you, love you, and are gratified that you lived with such a good, fun, lovable nature that you presented to all of us; all of us have that part of you. You are loved dearly and will be alive in our thoughts forever, in our memories and heart."Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Road, Toms River, NJ are in charge of the arrangements.
