Evelyn Ann Williams, 60, of New Bern, NC entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Denise was born on October 08, 1958. She was baptized as a youth at Christ Memorial Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Larry L. Broxton. She later joined Tremont Temple Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charlie B. Dillard. She was educated in the Chatham County School system. She graduated from Savannah High School in June of 1976. She continued at Savannah State University and received her bachelor's degree in business management. She was employed by Savannah Morning News for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her step-fathers, Alfonso Gray Sr. and Greg Faison; nephew Craig Wilson Jr. and brother-in-law Milton Duckworth. Survivors include her husband of 26 years Edward Duncan; Two sons: Marquise Williams (Demetra) and Christopher Williams (Angel); One Step-son: Eward Duncan Jr. and step-daughter: Tiffany Cole (Quincey) and 8 grandchildren; Two sisters: Stephanie Campbell (Isaiah) and Lorraine Williams; and One Step-sister: Donna Hensworth as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
