Evelyn BolbachEvelyn Bolbach, nee Mauser, 96, of O'Fallon, Ill., passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 at her residence.Evelyn was born on April 6, 1920 in Belleville, Ill. Before retiring, she worked as a physical therapist assistant providing care to residents at Castle Haven Nursing Home in Swansea, Ill. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She also stayed active while bowling on a league with her friends until the age of 82 years old. She loved spending time with her family, which included having her entire family at her home for each and every holiday, regardless of what holiday it may be.She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie, nee Holman, Mauser; her husband, Frank Everett Bolbach Jr.; and her brother, Kenneth Mauser.Evelyn is survived by four children, Betty Schnack of Texas, Jim (Cherie) Bolbach of Fairview Heights, Ill., Tom Bolbach of Belleville, Ill., and Diane Bolbach of O'Fallon, Ill.; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice at www.vitas.com.
